Ben Sahar Reportedly Regrets Joining QPR

Jewish Chronicle - Sahar regrets Rangers move 12/10/2007 By Simon Griver

The mother of Chelsea wonder kid Ben Sahar has revealed she regrets the day he went on loan to QPR.
“Mistakes have been made with Ben,” said Batya Sahar, who spends most of her time at his home in Cobham, Surrey. “We are trying to work out how we can get out of the situation.”
The 18-year-old, who made his Premier League debut last season, was loaned out to the Loftus Road club just before Chelsea parted company with Jose Mourinho.
The deal got off to a disastrous start when the Israeli international striker had an operation to remove his appendix a day after celebrating his birthday. The injury forced him to miss Israel’s game against England, and having only just returned to action, he finds himself starved of service at a club that recently sacked manager John Gregory.
Sahar is putting a brave face on life at the bottom of the Championship. “At Chelsea I was always trying to improve my play,” he said. “But at QPR it is very different as I am under pressure to deliver results. The team is defending most of the time and I receive very few passes.” Jewish Chronicle
