1982 Cup final skipper could be on his way back to Loftus Road

Former QPR defender Glenn Roeder has emerged as a frontrunner for the manager's job at the club.
Rangers have also installed Italian Franco Ceravolo as chief scout as part of an overhaul following the recent dismissal of John Gregory.
Ceravolo, who previously worked at Juventus, will be based in London but is expected to use his European contacts.
He is close to the group fronted by Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone that is completing a takeover at Loftus Road.
Roeder, 51, captained QPR in the 1982 FA Cup final and, if he takes over, will become the third member of that team in the space of a year to fill the Rangers hotseat.
Gregory, who took over from Gary Waddock in September 2006, was sacked after Sunday's 5-1 defeat at West Brom, leaving Rangers searching for their fourth manager in 19 months.
Roeder is a hugely respected coach and is credited with developing a number of young players during his time as Academy boss at West Ham and Newcastle.
But his managerial record is patchy and after decent spells in charge of both Premier League clubs, he left under a cloud.
West Ham were relegated in 2003 after he had been at the helm for most of the season.
And he resigned as Newcastle boss in May this year after angry fans had called for him to be sacked.
Roeder was also shown the door following earlier stints as manager at Gillingham and Watford.
But aside from a dismal period at West Ham, who went down despite having a number of highly coveted players, his record has been affected by taking charge of teams in difficult circumstances.
He is still well regarded in the game and it is thought his strengths could be suited to a Continental-style set-up likely to be put in place at Rangers, with a sporting director possibly taking responsibility for several aspects of running the club. Ealing Gazette
