Problems in recruiting Guidolin give Harford extended chance
MICK Harford is set for an extended run in the managerial hotseat at Loftus Road because of difficulties over the recruitment of Italian Francesco Guidolin.
Guidolin, who managed Sicilian club Palermo last season, is wanted by the new Rangers board but is still tied to the Italian club.
Harford has a chance to further press his claims on Saturday at Charlton.
He has overseen a three-game unbeaten run and although the Rs are still bottom of the Championship, a big win could transform Harford's chances of claiming the job long-term.
