Mikele Leigertwood has been passed fit to play against his former Club Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The midfielder, who celebrates his 25th birthday on Monday, broke his nose in the 2-1 defeat to Coventry City on Tuesday evening, but Head Physio Paul Hunter had some positive news for R's fans this morning.
"Mikele was seen by a specialist on Wednesday after he received a blow to his nose against Coventry," Hunter told www.qpr.co.uk.
"He's been given the all-clear to play on Saturday, which is great news."
On the downside, Marc Nygaard is unlikely to feature against the Eagles after sustaining a hamstring injury against the Sky Blues.
The Danish front-man will begin his rehabilitation this morning. QPR
