New Queens Park Rangers manager Luigi De Canio has brought in two of his former assistants at Siena to help him at the Championship club. OXFORD MAIL - St Aimie makes good impression By Mark Edwards
Kieron St Aimie
Oxford United manager Jim Smith says that he may have only seen loan signing Kieron St Aimie train once, but has already been won over by his enthusiasm.
The 18-year-old Queens Park Rangers midfielder has signed a two-month loan deal with the U's and is set for his debut against Rushden tomorrow.
He links up with Loftus Road teammate Stefan Bailey, who joined earlier this month.
The duo stayed behind after training yesterday to work on shooting, and Smith said that although he hadn't seen much of St Aimie, he has made a good impression.
"We had obviously heard about him and had good reports on him," Smith said.
"But you can see that he is a young lad who wants to learn and wants to improve.
"It's great to see such enthusiasm.
"He is strong, quick and I hope he will prove to be a good signing for us." Oxford Mail

Oxford could cancel out Rushden threatAndy Stephens

Rushden & Diamonds and Oxford United can share the spoils when they meet at Nene Park in the Blue Square Premier on Thursday night, a match being shown live on Setanta Sports 1. ..
Oxford reached the play-offs last season after finishing runners-up in the league but, with Robert Duffy on the sidelines, badly need an out-and-out goalscorer if they are to climb the table. Yemi Odubade is their top scorer this season, but only has six to his name. Those who fancy a dabble on the correct score should consider the general 6-1 offered against 1-1. The TImes

Australia Four Four Two - Adelaide Rule Out Bosnich Return
"ADELAIDE United have ruled out a call-up for shamed Socceroo 'keeper Mark Bosnich to replace injured glovesman Daniel Beltrame.
Beltrame looks set to be out for up to six weeks with a ripped quad muscle after tearing it in the weekend's 4-1 thrashing of Wellington Phoenix....
But Adelaide coach Aurelio Vidmar has dismissed suggestions they may make a move for Bosnich, who has recently been training with Queen's Park Rangers in the UK.
"Bozza's (Bosnich) been a great keeper," Vidmar told the Adelaide Advertiser. "Unfortunately his career went in different directions.
"Mark wouldn't be someone that we're interested in."... ." Four Four Two Australia
