"Where Are They Now?" -Ex-QPR's Michael Currie

-
Michael Currie was a youth and reserve player at QPR, who went on loan to a club in Singapore. He never actually played a league game. Currie is currently at non-League (Spartan South Midlands League) Beaconsfield Sycob FC. ("The Rams") - See Club History

Beaconsfield Sycob FC: Michael Currie
"Age 27, previous clubs include QPR, Marine Castle (Singapore), Hayes, Harrowborough, Staines and Wheelstone. Michael joined QPR as a Youth Player on the YTS scheme and then signed professional on a 5 year contract. At the age of 19, he went out on loan to Marine Castle (Singapore Nation League). After Loan spell ended, he came back to QPR but unfortunately sustained a serious foot injury in training which shattered his Metatarsal, which finished his professional career and resulted in manager Ian Holloway releasing him. After this, he joined Conference side Hayes under manager Terry Brown. Michael is a very attacking and powerful player and he is hoping to be a major goal scorer at this level." Beaconsfield Squad
