Franco Ceravolo has resigned from his position as QPR Chief Scout with immediate effect, owing to family reasons.
Ceravolo told www.qpr.co.uk: "I would like to thank Bernie Ecclestone, Alejandro Agag, Gianni Paladini, Luigi De Canio, the players and all the staff I have worked with during my time here.
"They all made me feel so welcome, and I was treated very well.
"I would especially like to thank Flavio Briatore, who is not only a fantastic businessman, but also a fantastic person.
"I greatly appreciate being given the opportunity to work for him at QPR.
"Unfortunately the move to London wasn't ideal from a family perspective, and it is with regret that I am having to step down from my position." QPR
