Scunthorpe: "...The Iron head into the match seeking their first home win in almost three months..." QPR Official site: "The Iron are eight matches without a win in the Championship - a run which has seen them collect just four points from a possible 24..." - Hopefully not the "traditional" QPR kiss of death!

Scunthorpe's home record is 3 wins. 3 draws. 4 defeats. Scored 15. Conceded 14
QPR's Away record is 1 win. 4 draws. 4 defeats. Scored 7. Conceded 12 Table

Scunthorpe Official Site - UNITED WITHOUT YOUGA FOR QPR CLASH
United face the division's bottom club Queens Park Rangers at Glanford Park on Saturday.
The Iron head into the match seeking their first home win in almost three months and a match against the struggling Hoops provides them with a good opportunity to get that.
They come into the match on the back of a 1-1 home draw with Blackpool on Monday night, an encounter which saw defender Kelly Youga receive his second red card inside a week.
As a result, despite the club's appeal to the FA, he will miss four matches and the loanee won't be in action until the away clash against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, December 29.
On loan from Manchester City, Shaleum Logan is in pole position to replace the Charlton man at right-back. However, the youngster is a slight doubt himself with a bad back.
He has returned to the City of Manchester Stadium for treatment on the injury, but Iron chief Nigel Adkins is hopeful he can be available.
It will be the final match of his one-month loan at the club, and the United manager is looking to extend his stay.
Dave Mulligan remains on stand-by though should Logan miss out.
Cleveland Taylor is still struggling with a hamstring problem so won't play, while Ian Baraclough has recovered from a calf injury and there is a chance he might be available.
Cliff Byrne (broken fibula) is the club's only long-term absentee at present.
Adkins knows Queens Park Rangers, managed by Luigi Di Canio will provide his side with a tough test and has done his homework on them - having the opportunity of watching them lose at home to Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
He told givemefootball.com: "Every game is a massive game for us. We said at the start of the season, whoever we take one point off will be gutted because they've lost a point to Scunthorpe United.
"We're still on target for what we want to achieve, which is to maintain Championship status. We knew we would have a period during the season where results don't go our way." Scunthorpe

QPR OFFICIAL SITE THE FRIDAY PREVIEW: SCUNNY
Forty-one years on from their last fixture with Scunthorpe United, Rangers head to Glanford Park for a massive six-pointer on Saturday afternoon.
The last time QPR locked horns with Scunny was in April 1967, when Rangers ran out comfortable 5-1 victors in the old division three.
Our most recent visit to Scunthorpe for a competitive fixture was in November of the same season, where we clinched a handsome 2-0 away victory on our way to winning the division three Championship by a remarkable 12 point margin.
Times have changed since then though and Nigel Adkins' side are an emerging force after their promotion from League One last season.
Adkins' side topped the division with 91 points, finishing six points clear of runners-up Bristol City, with a startling goal difference of +38.
The divisional title was all but clinched at Tranmere on April 28th, before it was eventually confirmed in bittersweet circumstances at Blackpool on the penultimate week of the season.
The Iron lost 3-1, but their nearest challengers Bristol City lost too - handing the title to United and enabling them to celebrate in style with a routine 3-0 victory against Carlisle United on the final day of the campaign.
Scunny currently occupy an encouraging 18th place in the Championship, with 22 points from their opening 20 fixtures in the second tier.
But their form in recent weeks is less than spectacular, with Adkins' side suffering from their first blip at this level.
The Iron are eight matches without a win in the Championship - a run which has seen them collect just four points from a possible 24.
