Sunderland Echo - Keane: No deal for Murphy
Sunderland boss Roy Keane said today that no deal has been agreed for the sale of striker Daryl Murphy.
Rumours abound that a £2million fee has been agreed for the Republic of Ireland international with QPR ahead of the January transfer window.
But the manager told the Echo today: "Nothing has been agreed with anybody yet.
"Obviously we are at that stage where we are making inquiries about players and other clubs are making inquiries of us but we certainly haven't agreed a deal with QPR at this stage."
"Daryl is an important squad player for us. He's trained all week and will be part of the first team squad at Chelsea tomorrow." Sunderland Echo
