Queens Park Rangers Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Hull City defender Damien Delaney.
The versatile 26 year-old has put pen-to-paper on a three-and-a-half year deal with the R's, after the two Clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for his services. Delaney, who is expected to go straight into the Rangers squad for Saturday's Championship fixture against Barnsley at Loftus Road, expressed his delight at the move, commenting: "It's a massive challenge for me personally. "I met the Chairman (Gianni Paladini) and he sold the Club to me in an instance. He spoke in glowing terms about the new owners and what they want to achieve and from that moment on, there was never any doubt in my mind that this was the Club for me.
"I've experienced something similar, albeit on a smaller scale, in the past, when Hull came into some serious investment and made their way up through the divisions and that should stand me in good stead.
"This is a new chapter for me and one I'm going to relish."

Damien Delaney has completed his move to Queens Park Rangers.
Delaney, who joined the Tigers in 2002, passed a medical at Loftus Road last night before completing the formalities of his move this morning.

Damien Delaney began his career with Irish side Cork City, before moving to Leicester City in November 2000.
Delaney was signed by then Foxes boss Peter Taylor, who paid £50,000 for his services, yet despite making eight Premiership appearances for the Foxes, he soon spent time on loan at Stockport County and Huddersfield Town.
A further loan spell at Mansfield Town followed, before he joined Hull City in 2002/03.
After a difficult start, in which Delaney was largely played out of position in midfield, the left back proved any doubters wrong with a superb campaign the following season.
He was the only ever-present in the Tigers' promotion campaign and won the Club's Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and Supporters' Player of the Year accolades.
Prior to his arrival in W12, the former City skipper featured in all but five of Hull's Championship fixtures in season 2007/08. QPR
