Dave McIntyre/Ealing Gazette - Hull defender Delaney is next target
Keeper Postma arrives, Nygaard could be on his way
QPR have made a bid for Hull defender Damien Delaney after having an improved offer for Sheffield Wednesday's Tommy Spurr rejected.
Rangers are also set to complete the signing of goalkeeper Stefan Postma, who is having a medical today (Wednesday), while Marc Nygaard could be on this way out of Loftus Road.
Irishman Delaney, 26, has been lined up after successive attempts to land the highly-rated Spurr were rebuffed.
If the deal goes through, Delaney will join the Rs for a fee which could rise to £1.2million, depending on appearances.
Spurr, who currently plays at left-back but is regarded as a centre-back with real potential, has been watched by a number of Premier League clubs.
But with Rangers keen to sign a left-back sooner rather than later, Delaney has now been targeted.
Former Aston Villa and Wolves keeper Postma, 31, can finally complete his move to west London from Dutch outfit ADO Den Haag after a contractual dispute was resolved.
Meanwhile, Nygaard may leave Rangers during the transfer window after being told his contract will not be renewed in the summer.
Colchester and Scunthope have shown an interest in the forward, whose current deal expires at the end of the season. There has also been interest in the player from Holland and his native Denmark. Ealing Gazette
