Gillingham Official Site - BAIDOO DEPARTS KRBS PRIESTFIELD
Striker Shabazz Baidoo has left Gillingham after a one-month loan spell and returned to parent-club QPR. The 21-year-old played in a couple of behind-closed-door friendlies but didn't make a first-team appearance at KRBS Priestfield.
Gills boss Mark Stimson explained the reasons for his departure: "Shabazz wanted to play regular first-team football and I couldn't offer him that. We have some players ahead of him at the moment and I can understand his frustration. Every player should want regular first-team football but I couldn't offer that to him. I wish him well in his future career." Gillingham
