Sixteen year old left back Andrew Howell has been called up to the first team squad to face Sheffield United. Head of Youth Joe Gallen said: "Andrew had the choice to either join the Commandos or QPR - I'm so glad he picked us. He has been doing very well and has been rewarded for his hard work. "He is as hard as nails as a footballer and I'm sure he'll be able to cope with the step up."
In other news Kevin Gallen is now back in full training and Simon Royce has started doing light work.
Scott Donnelly will miss the trip to Bramall Lane with a bruised foot, while Gareth Ainsworth and Mauro Milanese are both suspended.

R's defender Andrew Howell has joined Wealdstone on loan.
The 18 year-old left back, who has featured regularly for the Reserves this season, will stay with the Ryman Premier division side until Saturday 3rd May 2008.
Howell could be in line to make his Stones' debut against Ramsgate tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon. QPR

Teenager Andrew Howell makes his senior debut, as the R's entertain John Gorman's Northampton Town in the Carling Cup tonight.
The 18 year-old, no-nonsense defender - who will wear squad number 33 - slots in at left back, in a side showing no fewer than seven changes from Saturday's 1-1 draw with Preston North End at Deepdale.
Jake Cole starts in goal for the first time since entering the fray as a second half substitute on the final day of last season, while Marcus Bignot replaces Matthew Rose at right back.
Zesh Rehman and Damion Stewart will be hoping to continue their impressive start to the campaign at the heart of the R's defence, while the midfield quartet consists of Shabazz Baidoo, Marc Bircham, Stefan Bailey and Lee Cook.
