QPR Official Site - ROSE ON WORK EXPERIENCE
Under-18 hot-shot Romone Rose has joined AFC Wimbledon for a period of work experience
Rose, who has impressed at both Under-18 and Reserve team level this season, will still be available to feature for the R's second string as part of the arrangement with the Ryman Premier Division outfit.
"It will provide great experience for him," Youth Team Manager Steve Brown told www.qpr.co.uk.
"He has done very well playing for the Under-18's, but he needs to play at a higher level now, and this will enable him to do that.
"The Under-18's is too easy for him, and we've already seen that he can do well at Reserve level. Now we want to see how he copes playing in the Ryman Premier Division.
"Romone will still be available to play in Reserve matches for QPR but ultimately it will be more beneficial for him to stay at AFC Wimbledon when they have a mid-week fixture at the same time.
"Romone has got all the attributes needed to succeed as a professional footballer - what we want from him now is for him to really kick on and progress.
"It's a great opportunity for him. It will really help him to develop his game, and I'm sure he will cope with the step up." QPR
