Hull boss Phil Brown is making a shock move to sign QPR midfield schemer Martin Rowlands for his Premier League new boys.
Brown is willing to pay around £1.4million for Rowlands (above), who is on a good deal with the Hoops and in no rush to leave.

Hull City manager Phil Brown is making a move to sign QPR midfield schemer Martin Rowlands. Brown is willing to pay around £1.4m for Rowlands who is one of the better players in his position in the Championship — but he is on a good deal and in no rush to leave.
Hull, who hope to do deals for Plymouth's Peter Halmosi and Brazilian free agent Geovanni in the next few days, are also talking to Middlesbrough George Boateng but may struggle to match his wages.

Henrik Pedersen has left Hull with immediate effect to return to Denmark for family reasons. The 33-year-old ex-Bolton man has executed a clause in his contract to join home-town team Silkeborg IF. Manager Phil Brown said: ‘It's a disappointing one. It's a shock to everybody.’
