Goal.com - Bologna And QPR After Bogdani

Albanian striker Erjon Bogdani of Chievo is getting requests from teams both in Italy and abroad.

Daniele Arrigoni's newly promoted Bologna are still looking for a powerful striker for next season, when they will make their return to Serie A after three seasons of absence.

The Emiliani have already made an enquiry to Chievo for Albanian striker Erjon Bogdani, who spent the last season on loan at Livorno.

Other names Bologna are looking at for the attack are Nicola Pozzi of Empoli and Torino's David Di Michele.

However, for Bogdani there is also the possibility of an experience outside of Italy, as Formula 1 one manager Flavio Briatore allegedly wants him at his club Queens Park Rangers in England. It remains to be seen whether Bogdani would be willing to move to a First Division side though.

The 31-year-old has been playing in Serie A since 1999, when he left Dinamo Zagreb for Reggina. Since then he has played for Salernitana, Verona, Siena, Chievo, and Livorno, enjoying his most successful stint with Verona, where he scored 17 goals in the 2004/2005 season. Goal.com
