Dexter Blackstock wants to keep a 4-4-2 formation but isn’t sure that would end QPR’s mini-slump in form.
Rangers have taken only one from a possible 12 Championship points, and apart from cashing in on a rebound against Blackpool two weeks ago for a 1-1 draw, the striker has also failed to find the net in the last four games.
Blackstock and co had to endure another barren Saturday in the last outing against Birmingham - their third in a row – and the forward is praying for a turnaround in fortunes.
At St Andrews, Patrick Agyemang and he started together, but Blackstock was still left scratching his head as to why they came back from the midlands with a 1-0 defeat.
He said: “Would I prefer to hunt in a pair? Yes. Whether it’s the best formation for the team I don’t know, but any formation would be good if we were getting the results.
“It’s been a mixture of things that have gone wrong – and we’ve not been getting the rub of the green in the last two games.
“So now we have a test, and the game against Nottingham Forest on Saturday will be a hard match.” London Informer

When I played with Jermaine Pennant at Watford, you'd give him the ball and he'd do things with it, just go past people.

What is your least favourite away ground?
Rotherham's old ground Millmoor was poor. The pitch was bad and the changing rooms were separated by a thin wall so you could hear the other manager's team talk from next door! Welling United's was bad in non-league, you'd get changed with only plywood between you and you had to share toilets - you'd go before the match and see their centre-half on his way out! Eurosport
