QPR have been rocked by news that Rowan Vine won't be back until January at the earliest.
The forward, signed from Birmingham for £2million in January, snapped both his tibula and fibia in a freak training ground incident in April, and had been expected back later this month.
However, a thorough scan of his left leg this week revealed a part of the double break has failed to heal and the devastated 26-year-old has been told he needs further rehabilitation.
He said: "I thought everything was going well, but I have to take it on the chin and just keep going..." London Informer

Kaspars Gorkss has been named in the R's Reserve squad to play Crystal Palace tonight (Wednesday).
The Latvian defender - who was an unused substitute in last night's 1-1 draw against his former Club Blackpool - is joined in the squad by experienced trio Gareth Ainsworth, Adam Bolder and Damiano Tommasi.
The match, which takes place at Bromley FC, kicks off at 7.00pm.
