Millwall Official Site Midfielder signs
- Millwall have signed QPR midfielder Adam Bolder on a month's emergency loan. The 28-year-old is eligible to play in Saturday's FA Cup tie at Chester in the absence of Jimmy Abdou (suspension) and Marc Laird (injury).
- Kenny Jackett explained: "I'm looking for Adam to play a holding role in midfield for us. He has an ability to sit in and select the correct passes at the right time. Positionally he can give us something we've missed so far this season."
Adam added: "The time is right for me to get out and play some first team games. The opportunity to come to Millwall is a good one for me and I'm looking forward to Saturday." A full interview with Adam Bolder will appear on Lions World later. Millwall

QPR OFFICIAL SITE - AINSWORTH ON BOLDER DEPARTURE
Caretaker Manager Gareth Ainsworth has praised the professionalism of Adam Bolder, following the midfielder's loan move to Millwall.
The 28 year-old penned a one month loan deal with the League One side earlier today and in an exclusive interview with www.qpr.co.uk, Ainsworth revealed his admiration for the former Derby County man.
"We wish Adam all the best during his spell with Millwall," he said.
- "They're a side that seem to be pushing for the top of the third tier, and it's no surprise to me that they've come in for a player like him.
- "He's been different class around the training ground while he has been out of the team. He is a joy to work with, and comes in with his head held high every morning. You never see him sulking - he gives it everything he's got in training and is a great example to others.
- "I am sure QPR fans will always have the utmost respect for Adam, and no-one will ever forget what he did during the survival season of a couple of years ago. He played a massive part in leading us to Championship safety under John Gregory, and was a great, great Captain.
- "Millwall are definitely going to benefit from having Adam in their squad, I've got no doubts about that." QPR
QPR Official Site - EAGLES EASE PAST R'S RESERVES
Sean Scannell hit a double, as QPR Reserves succumbed to a 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace in the Totesportcasino.com Combination Cup on Wednesday evening.
The Republic of Ireland attacker hit a first-half brace to add to Leandre Griffit's early strike, before Angelo Balanta hit a late consolation for Rangers.
Palace, who fielded a strong side that included nine players who have made their First Team bows for the Club, got off to the best possible start after Frenchman Griffit fired an early strike past Jake Cole in the R's goal.
Rhoys Wiggins, with a deflected drive, and Johannes Ertl, with a firm header, both went close to doubling Palace's lead, before Scannell slotted past Cole from close range in the 28th minute.
Palace were cruising and on the stroke of half-time, Scannell all but secured the victory when he scored his second after more good work from Andrew.
Rangers emerged from the second half break a lot hungrier and Palace had keeper David Wilkinson to thank on the hour after he made a fine save from Romone Rose's effort.
Balanta missed two great chances for the R's as the clock ticked down, but he wasn't to be denied, scoring the visitors' late consolation with a long-range effort after a quickly taken free-kick by Hogan Ephraim. QPR
