The Times - Les Ferdinand is to return to Tottenham Hotspur as part of Harry Redknapp's coaching set-up.
- The former England international will act as a strikers' consultant, joining Tim Sherwood, his former Tottenham team-mate, at White Hart Lane.
- The 41-year-old will be expected to improve the fortunes of Darren Bent, Fraizer Campbell and Roman Pavlyuchenko, who have struggled to make an impact this season. Ferdinand began his career with Queens Park Rangers where he scored 80 goals in 163 league appearances, before moving to Newcastle United and Tottenham.
