Micky Walsh
Former QPR Forward (for one season), Micky Walsh Turns 52 - Born August 14, 1954
A prolific goalscorer for Blackpool who was bought by Everton. QPR Manager Steve Burtenshaw signed Walsh in the spring of 1979, near the end of our First Division relegation season, in a straight swop for QPR's ex-Swindon forward, Peter Eastoe. At the time it looked like a good deal for QPR.
New QPR manager, Tommy Docherty prefered Clive Allen and Paul Goddard and Walsh was sold to FC Porto for about 170,000 pounds the next season.
