Dismay as Jones looks to jump ship

.... "We struggle to create without Lee Cook - especially with Gareth Ainsworth out as well," said Paladini. "We've got a team that relies on wingers and it's important we keep Lee. He's very important to us and we've seen that when he's been injured. "There are clubs interested in him but we've had no offers and we don't want any because he is not for sale."Someone really would have to offer stupid money to get him because that's how important he is to QPR."He has two years left on his contract and will be staying here."
But Rangers are less upbeat about keeping teenage striker Ray Jones..... He is free to talk to other clubs from January. As Jones is too young to move on a Bosman free transfer, a tribunal would set a fee. Paladini insisted: "We broke our back to try to keep him. We have done every-thing we possibly can. "We have offered him about eight contracts but every single time we have heard from his agent that Ray won't be signing...."If anyone wants to sign Ray Jones they'll have to go to a tribunal," Paladini added. "He won't be going in January. He can sign for another club then but he won't be able to play for them this season. "He's an England U19 international and a first-team player. We will expect a tribunal to take that into account. "I'm very disappointed. In John Gregory he has a manager that loves him and he's playing in our first team. If he goes elsewhere he will end up playing reserve-team football. "Why doesn't he just sign and stay here for two or three years? I think he has been very badly advised."
