Queens Park Rangers have admitted an FA charge of failing to ensure that their staff behaved in an orderly and nonviolent fashion during last month’s brawl between their players and officials and members of the China Olympic team.
Richard Hill, the QPR assistant manager, has also been charged with violent conduct and has until Monday to respond. Hill was suspended by the Coca-Cola Championship club for his part in the incident, which left Zheng Tao, the China defender, with a broken jaw. Hill has been told, after an internal inquiry, that he will not return to the club. The former Gillingham coach was informed that he would not face police charges after his arrest in the wake of the mêlée at QPR’s Harlington training ground on February 7. However, Gianni Paladini, the chairman, has taken a tough stance and decided that Hill will be relieved of his duties. The Times

End of the road for Rangers assistant
Richard Hill will not be re-instated

Richard Hill will not be returning to his job as QPR assistant boss following the now infamous brawl with the Chinese Olympic team.
Hill will not face police charges having been arrested after the bust-up at Rangers' Harlington training ground last month.
But he still faces the axe as a result of the club's own inquest into the debacle.
Chairman Gianni Paladini does not want Hill back at Loftus Road and was prepared to risk a stand-off with manager John Gregory, who is now likely to appoint a new right-hand man.
Hill, 43, has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association. QPR also face charges relating to the incident, which left Chinese player Zheng Tao with a broken jaw. Ealing GAzette
