QPR Official Site - TALKS TO BEGIN...
John Gregory is hopeful he can thrash out deals with Marcus Bignot and Marc Nygaard in the next few weeks.
Both players are due to be offered terms in the next 48 hours and Gregory is confident the duo will prolong their stay in W12 after their existing contracts expire at the end of June.
"Marcus and Marc haven't been offered terms yet, but we expect to sit down with them in the next 48 hours or so,'' Gregory told www.qpr.co.uk.
"They know we're talking about one year deals and I'm quietly confident both of them will put pen to paper.''

"However, if they get a better offer to go elsewhere, we simply shake hands and that will be that, but I don't foresee that being the case.'' QPR

Youngster Dean Parrett left the club to join Tottenham last season, while forwards Ray Jones and Shabazz Baidoo progressed from the youth team to the first-team squad, but Gregory wants to improve things.
"During my time as a player here (from 1981 until 1985), the youth set-up was vibrant," Gregory said. "We produced a lot of very good players.
"I would like to be in that position again, and it is something I will spend a lot of time on during the summer.
"QPR has always had a good youth set-up. We have always produced our own players, sold them at various times, and made large profits on them.
"This is a fantastic catchment area to attract kids at youth level. Parents are happy with their kids coming here. I will spend time and make sure we have equipment to bring in quality young players." TEAMTALK
