Confirmation: Chelsea's Ben Sahar Joins QPR on Loan

Chelsea youngster Ben Sahar is set to join the R's on an initial three-month loan deal.
The 17-year-old striker met his new team-mates for the first time this morning, and is expected to make his debut against Wycombe this weekend.
The loan deal has been agreed with our West London neighbours, and Sahar will officially join QPR on August 1st.
He is regarded as one of Israel's brightest talents and has already represented the full international squad, making his debut at the age of 17 to become his country's youngest ever player.
Sahar, who featured against England in March's goalless Euro 2008 qualifier, will wear the No.17 shirt.
Manager John Gregory was understandably delighted with his latest loan capture, commenting: "It is exciting to have somebody of Ben's undoubted potential being part of our set-up at the start of the new season.
"I use the word 'potential' as Ben has still got his whole career in front of him at the moment.
"Although he has got full caps for the national team and has made first-team appearances for Chelsa in the Premiership, it will still be a big step-up for Ben to become a regular player in the Championship, but we firmly believe it's a step-up that he is more-than-capable of achieving.
"We are delighted to have him here and I am sure he will improve our attacking options. I now have six recognised strikers who are all fighting for two or three places in the team.

Ben Sahar has told www.qpr.co.uk that he is looking forward to life as a Ranger.
The 17-year-old, who is set to join on an initial three-month loan from Chelsea at the start of August, said: "I am excited about this move and feel ready to play for the first-team.
"I have already shown that I know how to score goals, and hopefully I will do that for QPR."
Sahar, who joins Dexter Blackstock, Ray Jones, Stefan Moore, Marc Nygaard and Danny Nardiello to become John Gregory's sixth striker at the Club, added: "I am still young and I need to show that I deserve to be in the QPR team."
The Israeli-born forward signed for Chelsea last summer, and has quickly recognised how different the game is in this country.
"The style of football here is much more aggressive and you need to be stronger," he acknowledged.
"And the Championship is very tough, so it can only improve me as a player. That is why I am very happy to be here."
Sahar is set to make his Rangers debut at Wycombe this weekend, and he added: "I can't wait to wear the QPR shirt."

Born in Holon, Israel in August 1989, Ben Sahar first shot to prominence at the tender age of 15.
Sahar was spotted by Chelsea scouts whilst representing Israel in an Under-16 fixture against Ireland in 2004.
Described by former boss Itzhak Shum as one of Israel's 'brightest talents,' the highly-rated youngster eventually joined Chelsea from Hapoel Tel Aviv for £230,000 in May 2006, after a successful two month trial at Stamford Bridge.
Sahar, who was granted a Polish citizenship on his arrival in West London, made his Chelsea debut as a second half substitute in the Blues' F.A Cup third round tie against Macclesfield Town in January 2007.
Entering the fray for Salomon Kalou, Sahar enjoyed a productive debut and was used from the bench once again by Jose Mourinho a week later, in the Blues' Premiership fixture against Wigan Athletic.
Four weeks later, at the age of just 17 and a half, Sahar became the youngest player ever to play for Israel, in a friendly match against Ukraine.
In doing so, he became Chelsea's youngest player to earn international recognition.
A second cap against England followed soon after, before he became the youngest player to score for his country in his third a ppearance, bagging a brace against Estonia as a substitute in Israel's 4-0 win. QPR
