Former QPR Forward Dean Sturridge Turns 34 - Birthday
QPR signed Sturridge on a free transfer from Wolves in March 2005 (apparently without giving him a medical). Made 6 + 5 League appearances without scoring. (Although did score for QPR in their pre-season Ibiza Tournament) Sturridge Joins QPR Spent Part of Last season at non-League Kidderminster -

A somewhat more popular with QPR Fans Former Forward Recent Birthday: Garry Bannister Recently Turned 47 (July 22)

Alan Mullery's first signing after taking over from Terry Venables: The former Coventry striker was signed from Sheffield Wednesday for 200,000 pounds in August 1984 as a replacement for Clive Allen who was then sold to Spurs. Bannister had a great goalscoring record, scoring 56 goals in 136 games.
