Championship outfit QPR were this week tipped to sign two Israeli forwards on loan deals.
Chelsea youngster Ben Sahar has turned down a move to Charlton in favour of a temporary move to Loftus Road. The 17-year-old hotshot looked set for a spell at The Valley but manager Alan Pardew was keen for him to stay for the entire season. Chelsea will reportedly continue to pay Sahar’s salary with an option to recall him with immediate effect.
Rangers boss John Gregory said: “We believe that he is going to be a great help to us.”
Gregory has also moved to sign Maccabi Petach Tikvah’s Omer Golan. The former Aston Villa boss Gregory has asked to take Golan on a year-long deal with a view to signing him in a £1 million deal next summer
