Daily Mail -Charlton to snap up Israel hero Sahar
Charlton are set to announce they have won the race to sign Chelsea striker Ben Sahar on loan for the first three months of the season.
Sahar, 17, has three caps for Israel, one of which was against England in March, and scored two goals in a win against Estonia. He may stay at Charlton for the whole season. Mail

Chelsea's young Israeli striker Ben Sahar has joined Charlton Athletic on loan until January. Sahar joined the Londoners from Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the summer of 2006, having represented his country at under-17 and under-21 level. He made his debut as a substitute against Wigan in January. Daniel Nardiello turned down the offer of a new contract at Barnsley to move to Loftus Road last week and the 24-year-old former Manchester United trainee is likely to line up alongside three Chelsea players next season. Jimmy Smith and Michael Mancienne will remain on loan for another six months, while Scott Sinclair, the winger who caught the eye on loan at Plymouth Argyle last season, could also make the short journey across West London.
