Dorset Daily Echo - Travelling the world for trialists By Neil Perrett
CHERRIES boss Kevin Bond will tonight continue his search for new blood after casting his net from Hackney to Brazil - via France, Egypt and Paraguay.
Bond will run the rule over another cosmopolitan batch of trialists during Cherries' pre-season friendly against Oxford United (7.45pm kick-off).
Among England's representatives in the city of dreaming spires will be London-born striker Shabazz Baidoo who is currently on the books of QPR.
The 19-year-old, who has progressed through the ranks at Loftus Road, caught Bond's eye during a behind-closed-doors friendly at Chelsea earlier this year.
Baidoo has hit four goals in 34 appearances during his QPR career and featured predominately from the substitutes' bench in their Championship campaign last season.
South American trio Alfredo Novaes, Lidier Marmol and Marcio Giovanni look set to join Baidoo in the Cherries line-up at the Kassam Stadium.....
