Helguson Returned to Bolton? (Messageboard Rumour) ....Half Time: QPR Being Crushed 3-0 by Watford

-
And that's it...!

Heidar Helguson is not in the team or on the bench today. The norm would be to assume he's injured or the manager(s) wanted to bring in slowly - even though with injuries, that would be strange. No reason given for his absence on the QPR Official Site Team Announcement. Two or three posters on the boards are saying he's returned to Bolton. But nothing on Bolton's Official Site (or QPR's official site) or from Bolton posters. (And he's listed as onloan to QPR on the Bolton and QPR site) So it may just be board rumour. A classic "Stay Tuned!"

Half Time Match Report
Northampton Chronicle - New QPR boss suffers nightmare start at Watford

Paulo Sousa was given a harsh introduction to life as QPR boss as he watched Watford establish a 3-0 half-time lead in their Championship clash at Vicarage Road.
Tommy Smith's penalty, after a foul by Damion Stewart, gave the hosts the advantage after 24 minutes.

Watford, who were on a five-game losing streak in the league, then extended their lead through Darren Ward's strike.

Lee Williamson added a third just before the break to put them in a commanding position.

In his first match in charge, former Portugal international Sousa oversaw five changes to the starting XI with Emmanuel Ledesma, Mikele Leigertwood and Patrick Agyemang among those returning.

However, former Watford favourite Heidar Helguson did not make the squad after his midweek loan move from Bolton.

Watford: Loach, Mariappa, Ward, DeMerit, Doyley, McAnuff, Williamson, Harley, Jenkins, Priskin, Smith. Subs: Lee, Bromby, Robinson, Hoskins, O'Toole.

QPR: Cerny, Delaney, Stewart, Hall, Ramage, Mahon, Leigertwood, Ledesma, Ephraim, Blackstock, Agyemang. Subs: Cole, Parejo, Gorkss, Tommasi, Di Carmine. Northampton Chronicle
