Mail "Advice" to Sousa...Sousa Visits Buszaky in Hospital

Daily Mail/Hatchet Man - Wise up Paulo before Briatore calls you in for one of his 'normal' chats at QPR

Paulo Sousa has only been in his new job at Queens Park Rangers for a couple of days and he is already in denial.
‘I’m in charge…I have free decisions,’ claimed the new first-team coach after suggestions he hadn‘t been given the title of manager for a very good reason.
Better still, he added: ‘He [chairman Flavio Briatore] doesn’t tell me anything about promotion. He doesn’t put pressure on me, not for this season and not for next season.’

Hard to please: QPR chairman Flavio Briatore

Either Sousa is extraordinarily naive and knows absolutely nothing about the club he has joined or he is out of his mind.
But if the Portuguese was sincere when making the above statements, he is about to learn about club management the hard way.
When rumours surfaced recently that former manager Iain Dowie quit QPR because Briatore tried to tell him which team to pick, the Italian claimed they had simply had a ‘normal discussion’.
It is also thought that Briatore considered appointing himself manager before making Sousa ‘boss’.
And the idea that QPR are no in a rush to achieve promotion is preposterous.
Sousa is the fourth manager at the club since Briatore took charge and one thing his predecessors all have in common is that they have failed to take the Championship by storm.
None of them was given much time to do so either, so wise up Paulo - and quick Mail
