[As was also noted in today's Bolton News "The [Bolton] Wanderers boss has admitted, however, that Heidar Helguson could be allowed to leave after QPR enquired about his services late last week"]

MAIL -Goal-shy QPR seek to boost firepower by signing Bolton striker Helguson
- QPR are hoping to snap up Bolton striker Heidar Helguson this week on loan with a view to a £1.5m permanent switch.
- Helguson, 31, has been plagued by an ankle injury and has made only two appearances for Bolton this term.
- Rangers, who have scored just five goals in their past 10 league and cup games, were interested in Sunderland's Michael Chopra last week but the striker preferred to move back to his former club, Cardiff.
- The Championship side have now made former Watford and Fulham striker Helguson their main target. Mail

Kilburn Times - Agyemang- Pat's determined to ease Rangers' goal drought
- PATRICK Agyemang is anxious to play his part in boosting QPR's meagre goal tally after returning from a month out with a groin injury...
"I felt good - in training and the reserves I've been feeling sharp and now I just want to get back in the side and get us up there.
"Last season we were scoring regularly, but this season we haven't. I think that's just confidence really and it'll change the more games we play.
"I started the season with the aim of getting as many goals as possible and injuries have restricted me, but I'm fit now so hopefully I can contribute some goals and maybe some assists.
"Now I just want to stay injury-free and give 100 per cent. We need to pull together and get the results, starting with three more points against Burnley."
Agyemang has only started twice for Rangers since the opening day of the season, finding the net just once so far.
QPR missed an opportunity to bolster their strike force last week when they pulled out of a loan move for Sunderland's Michael Chopra, who joined former club Cardiff instead.
Rangers baulked at Chopra's £20,000 a week salary - however, the Times understands that the club are already paying one of their recent signings well in excess of that wage
