QPR deputy managing director Ali Russell, despite being paid around £225,000 a year to be an apologist for owner Flavio Briatore, is now afraid to comment on any club issue.
Russell even said 'no comment' when asked the innocuous question as to whether a certain individual still held a club position.
This is a symptom of the climate of fear at Loftus Road under motor racing tycoon owner Briatore, as exposed by a senior former club insider in Saturday's Sportsmail. Daily Mail
