"The Bad Boys of Loftus Road"
- For the last few seasons, QPR have had one of the worse disciplinary records in the Championship. Thus far, this again seems to be the case this season. QPR currently have 36 yellow and 4red cards. Only Burnly with 40 yellow and 3 red; and Coventry with 40 yellow and 0 reds are at the same level. QPR have achieved this level of "consistency" despite having had a number of different managers and coaches (and of course, players) during this period. Now with Sousa and Oliveira, will be interesting to see if there is any improvement.

-With an additional six yellow cards against Swansea, QPR moved up to 30 yellow cards and two red cards after just 12 league + 3 cup games. ...
-In the last few seasons, under Dowie, De Canio, Harford, Gregory, Waddock and Holloway, QPR have consistently ranked near the top in having a poor disciplinary record. (For this season, have only the QPR stats; not how QPR compare to others clubs' disciplinary records.)

Previous Seasons' Disciplinary Record

- In the 2007-2008 season, in the "Foul League," QPR ended up with 86 Yellows and 6 Reds - Just behind Coventry who ended with 90 Yellows and 4 Reds. (In Fouls conceded, QPR with 651 fouls was just behind Plymouth who "topped" with 659 fouls.)- Mikele Leigertwood and Martin Rowlands were in the "Worst 20" Discipline League] [Even so, last season's QPR's Disciplinary record was still a considerable improvement over 2006/2007.]

2007-2008, QPR had 86 yellow cards and 6 Red cards

2006-2007, QPR had 105 Yellow cards and 3 Reds cards

2005-2006, QPR had 79 Yellow and 8 Red cards

2004-2005, QPR had 71 Yellow, 3 Red cards
