Dani Parejo is in talks to cut short his loan spell at Queens Park Rangers.
The Real Madrid starlet signed for Rangers in the summer after the London club's chairman Flavio Briatore struck a deal with counter-part Ramon Calderon.
However, things have not worked out as well as was expected for the 19-year-old.
Parejo, who has started 10 league games for the club - is now back in the Spanish capital in talks with Madrid.
It is believed coach Juande Ramos is more than happy to have the teenager back in the squad - given their current injury problems. Sky Sports

- Dani Parejo is in Madrid today holding talks with Real Madrid over a return to the Spanish club. Dani, currently on loan from the Spanish champions at English championship side QPR has struggled to hold down a first team place at Loftus Road since moving to London in the summer and would be happy to return to Spain.
- Juande Ramos, the new Madrid coach, has inherited a side depleted by injuries and he is keen maximise his options in the squad. Discussions involving Juande, Dani and the technical staff at the club are taking place today: with a view to establishing whether the new Madrid coach feels that Dani could feature in his plans.
- Bernd Schuster, sacked as coach of Madrid last week, was eager for Dani Parejo to cut short his loan spell in London and bring the Spanish U21 international back to the La Liga club, and it remains to be seen if Ramos will feel the same. However, if there is no possibility that Parejo will feature for Ramos at Real Madrid, then it is most likely that the player will go out on loan to another Spanish first division club – possibly Espanyol – rather than return to London where his playing time has been limited.
- Championship football in England is of a completely different style to the football played at youth level in Spain and it has been difficult for Parejo to adapt to. Setanta.com understands that QPR midfielder Daniel Parejo is currently in Madrid to negotiate a return with employers Real.
Exciting Spanish talent Parejo has been called back by Juande Ramos, who is in search of a right winger, and is about to move on from Championship side QPR.
The 19-year-old is on loan to the Loftus Road outfit this term, but appears to be on his way back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Parejo impressed during the Emirates Cup last summer and moved to QPR straight away, with his parents also moving to London.
When contacted by Setanta.com, the Spaniard said he was currently in Madrid, but was not allowed to speak about his future. Setanta

- QPR have sent teenager Dani Parejo back to Real Madrid - and are ready to offload Emanuel Ledesma as well.
- It's the clearest sign yet the balance of power has shifted from chairman back to manager after the Rs boardroom dominated team selection during the last two months.
- At the end of October, chairman Flavio Briatore was seething then boss Iain Dowie wouldn't pick the two on-loan starlets - and paid for it with his job.
- But new man Paulo Sousa quickly decided the midfielder and Argentine winger from Genoa weren't up to the task of a tough Championship campaign and travelled down the same line of thought as Dowie.
- Briatore was instrumental in bringing the pair to the club in the summer - Parejo through his friendship with Real president Ramon Calderon - but has reluctantly agreed to his new manager's wishes.
- At one stage, the chairman was handing caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth his own team selection.
- But this week Sousa tapped the part of his contract allowing him complete control of first-team affairs and has also demanded midfielder Damiano Tomassi be included in the mini-cull come the January transfer window.
- The 34-year-old Italian initially made an impact on his debut in the 1-0 win over Birmingham in October, but couldn't compete with the likes of Gavin Mahon and Mikele Leigertwood for a regular berth.
- Those heading for the exit is also expected to include the permanent transfer of keeper Lee Camp to Nottingham Forest allowing Rangers to pursue Ben Watson at Crystal Palace, although sources at Rangers fear they won't be able to compete with Premiership giants such as Everton, also waiting in the wings for the 23-year-old.
- An Rs source said: "We've already offered £1million.
- "There may be a little more available. But what would you do if you're ambitious and the choice is between a Premiership and Championship club?"
-Midfielder Adam Bolder is also up for permanent grabs after the former Derby player spent most of the year on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and with League One Millwall. London Informer


Express and Star - Wolves interested in Sinclair
- Mick McCarthy is looking at strengthening Wolves’ wing options in the January transfer window after reiterating his interest in Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair.
- McCarthy failed in a bid to take the exciting 19-year-old when Matt Jarvis was injured. After losing Sunderland’s Carlos Edwards last month, he could now return with an enquiry.
- The manager said: “I’ve contacted Chelsea about Scott Sinclair and he can’t come out until the window, so everyone knows I’ve got an interest in him.
- “But there were about 22 other clubs interested in him at the time, which was when we lost Jarvis. I rang instantly and we tried them all – Scott Sinclair, Carlos Edwards and other names. I still like Scott as a player.
- “We looked to see what we could do and we got Carlos. I would love to have still had him here, but that’s not the case. But all that could change.”
- But McCarthy stressed signing loan players is no foregone conclusion.
- He said: “These players need to play, it’s like Mark Davies going from us to Leicester. I would never give anyone a guarantee – they have to earn the right to play – but when you’re taking loan players, you’re taking them with a view to playing them.
- “I’m loaning players out but I’m not going to loan them out to be on the bench – they might as well play in our reserve games.”
- McCarthy admits he would be hard pushed to improve his squad next month, given their position six points clear at the top of the Championship.
“I would do very well to get players better than the ones I’ve got because they’ve been brilliant, absolutely different class and I’ve got a lot of time for them,” he said.
“But if I can get someone to supplement the squad and make it stronger, then that’s my job and I’ll do it.” Express and Star
