Goal.com -Parejo To Return To Real Madrid?
- Dani Parejo may be set to return to Real Madrid sooner than expected, as the club look to strengthen their squad given their injury problems...
- Real Madrid's squad has been racked by injuries this season, and amid criticism of the lack of 'cantera' players in the first team, they may look towards one of their home -rown players for depth.
- The player in question is young midfielder Dani Parejo, who is currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers. Having moved to London in the summer, his original plan was to return to Madrid next season, but Los Merengues' injury crisis may hasten his return.
- Indeed, Bernd Schuster had already made up his mind to recall the player, and if Juande Ramos agrees, Real Madrid will promptly begin talks with QPR to negotiate his return.
Madrid suffered a 2-0 defeat to rivals Barcelona last night to fall further behind in the La Liga title race.

Real Madrid are ready to recall Dani Parejo from his loan at QPR.

Parejo Aiming To Earn Real Madrid Spot
The young midfielder is hoping to dispell talk of Real Madrid not giving their homegrown talent a chance by returning from England to earn a place in the first team at the Bernabéu.
Daniel Parejo has revealed that his dream is to become one of the few homegrown players to become a success at Real Madrid when his time at Queens Park Rangers finishes.
- The 19-year-old Spain Under-21 international is enjoying life in England after he made the unexpected loan move to the Championship in the summer instead of taking up offers from Deportivo or Villarreal.
- After five months in London, Parejo is settled but he has no intention of staying and has his sights set firmly on breaking into the Madrid side where his contemporaries have been unable.
- "When I leave the club, it will be sad, but my dream objective is to play for the Real Madrid first team," vitalfootball quote him as saying.
- "They are best team in the world, and although it is going to be very, very hard it is not impossible, and I will fight to play in that team, just as I will fight for QPR."
-"It was a big decision to come to England, but one that I took with my family. I think it`s a great opportunity as I`m going to gain a lot of experience on both a professional and a personal level.
- "I feel that I have performed quite well so far, but there is of course much more to come from me."
- While he may have felt homesick for the first few weeks, Parejo believes that the family atmosphere sat QPR has helped and he enjoys playing in front of full houses every week.
- "Real Madrid have lots of foreign players on their team and of course they are all treated very well, just like I am being treated well as a foreigner living in England," he continued.
- "I believe that a team is like a family and whilst I do miss my friends and family, the fact that I`m very comfortable here, coupled with the fact that there are lots of other young players, helps me overcome the homesickness.
- "The football in England is a completely different to anything I have previously experienced, but it has been incredible. Stadiums are full to the brim and the fans are always singing, I think that is really impressive."
- Lucas Brown, Goal.com
