QPR vs Swansea
- Slumping QPR, without a win in 9 games - their worst run for some time - take on Swansea at Loftus Road tonight. With 8 games left, QPR are 10 points behind sixth placed Cardiff, wherease Swansea are just 3 points behind Cardiff. Current League Table

- Possibly/somewhat bizarrely with Rowan Vine ostensibly set for an instant return - after a year out.

- How things change: A few weeks ago, the manager of the Month shortlist included Sousa and Swansea's Roberto Martinez. And if QPR had played Swansea when it was originally scheduled, could well have won it (Of course QPR might still).

- And of course when Iain Dowie lost his job - after QPR last played Swansea, Martinez was one of the managers linked in the press as his replacement.

- Swansea lost on Saturday at home to Crystal Palace. Before that, Swansea had lost just once since November. Swansea's top scorers are Scotland with 21 and Gomez with 13. Away from home this season, Swansea have won 4, drawn 9, lost 5. - Swansea sats:

Western Mail/Simon Kendal-Williams - Crystal clear that Swans can bounce back after Palace misery
- THE scene of a rare home defeat, disgruntled fans filing out early and the first double reverse of the season – but ultimately, no great damage done.
There, at least, the Liberty Stadium had something in common with Old Trafford over the weekend.
Even the greatest teams have their off-days, and this will certainly go down as an afternoon to forget for Roberto Martinez and his Swansea side.
The task now, with eight games to go in what is already shaping up to be the tightest Championship finish in history, is to ensure that this performance was a mere blip in what has been a magnificent first season back in the second tier.
And if you could hand-pick an away fixture at the moment, a trip to Loftus Road tomorrow night would be near the top of a very short list.
Queens Park Rangers, an under-achieving team with an under-fire coach who have managed no wins and just four goals in their last nine games, should provide the ideal opposition on which to take out the frustrations of undeniably Swansea’s worst showing of the campaign....

QPR Official Site - EXCLUSIVE: VINE READY TO RETURN
- Rowan Vine is set to make a sensational return to First Team action against Swansea City tomorrow (Tuesday) night.
- The 26 year-old, who has been sidelined for the best part of a year owing to the fractured leg he sustained in a freak training ground accident last April, has travelled with the R's First Team squad in recent weeks, but now looks set to make a sensational return against the high-flying Swans.
- R's boss Paulo Sousa revealed the news exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk this afternoon, commenting: "Rowan has travelled with us over the last couple of weeks and he has now made the next step up by being included in the squad for the fixture against Swansea.
- "There is a real possibility he will feature at some point tomorrow night, which is fantastic for Rowan and QPR."
- Following his first operation, Vine initially suffered a frustrating waiting game, enduring one setback after another, but following a successful second operation, the former Birmingham City man has made a quite remarkable recovery.
Head Physio Paul Hunter - who has worked closely with the star striker over the last calendar year - couldn't be more delighted for the man himself, commenting: "Rowan has been thoroughly professional throughout the whole process and it's great that he's back in the fold.
- "He's been training with the First Team squad for over a month now and has shown that he's ready to step up and fight for his place in the starting XI.
"I couldn't be happier for him - and I'm sure the fans will echo those sentiments too."
