- Rangers are hoping to sign Argentine playmaker Alejandro Damian Faurlin.
- The 22-year-old’s performances for Argentine side Instituto have sparked interest from a number of Italian clubs, but QPR will try to persuade him to join them.
- He could feature for Rangers during pre-season, as could David Connolly who has been training with the club.
- Connolly is a free agent after being released by Sunderland.
- Jim Magilton has looked to Argentina before, signing Luciano Civelli for Ipswich last season, and John Gorman recently visited there on a scouting mission.
- Following his return, an approach for Faurlin was made and the player is expected in London for talks this week.
- If he does join Rangers, it may be on an initial year-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
