- R's front-man Heidar Helguson has joined former Club Watford on loan.
- The 32 year-old- who spent four and a half successful years at Vicarage Road between January 2000 and June 2005 - has put pen to paper on a deal until December 28th.
- Helguson initially joined the R's on loan in November 2008, before making the move permanent a couple of months later.
- He scored six goals in all competitions, including his only goal of the season so far, in our 1-1 draw against Plymouth Argyle. QPR

- HEIDAR Helguson has today (Tuesday) joined Watford on loan from Queens Park Rangers.
- The 32-year-old signs for the Golden Boys until the end of December from the west Londoners.
- It is the second addition to Malky Mackay's squad this week, after the arrival of Craig Carthcart on loan from Manchester United.
- Helguson will provide some added firepower and experience for the Hornets in attack, while no doubt also displaying some of the never-say-die attitude he showed during his earlier spell at Vicarage Road.
- During his first spell with the Club, he was a fans' favourite and the front man picked up the Player of the Season award in 2004/05, after a year of fine displays where he netted 20 times for the 'Orns.
- Helguson signed for Watford in January 2000 from Lillestrom and left in the summer of 2005, after finding the back of the net 64 times in 148 starts for the Club.
- Since leaving Vicarage Road, the Icelandic international firstly joined Fulham and then Bolton.
- He arrived at QPR after a successful loan spell at Loftus Road at the start of the year where he grabbed three goals in just five starts, he then made the move south permanent at the end of the January transfer window.
