Watford Official Site - HEIDAR LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING BACK HOME
- ALTHOUGH Watford's defeat at The Hawthorns on Saturday (31 October) was one to forget about, it marked the return of Iceland striker Heidar Helguson.
- The on-loan QPR man had been out with a calf injury since his second debut at Vicarage Road back in September, so despite the scoreline, he was glad to get back on the pitch for the Hornets.
- "I played 40 minutes of the game and it felt good to be back" said Helguson.
- "What can you say - I'm disappointed at the result but it was one of those days - we under performed and that's what you get."
- Helguson was helped to his recover by the aid of a Kriotheraphy chamber at Champneys, Tring and he said that it had been a successful recuperation for him.
- "I used the chamber up at Bolton so I knew it was effective and it's supposed to speed up your recovery process along with all the other work.

- "It was good to get a change of scenery and to have the expert therapists on hand."
- Now the forward feels fit again, he has his focus firmly set on another home display at Vicarage Road.
- "It will be good to go back home and win on Saturday against Preston and then this game will be forgotten.
- "Myself and the rest of the team are now looking forward to the game at home next weekend." Watford
