SkySports: Debut for Raheem Sterling
- Skysports.com understands QPR's teenage sensation Raheem Sterling could be handed a debut against Sheffield United on Saturday.
- The England Under-16 international has been winning rave reviews for his displays in the Victory Shield and is wanted by some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
- Premier League big-guns Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City have been linked with the starlet, who is being tipped to leave Loftus Road in the not too distant future.
- However, they could all get the chance to add to their scouting profile if Rs caretaker manager Steve Gallen gives him an opportunity off the bench in the Championship clash.
- Sterling had half an hour's action as a substitute in Tuesday's 2-2 reserve team draw with Aldershot and has been training with QPR's first-team ahead of this weekend's game.
- The skilful winger, who only celebrated his 15th birthday earlier this month, would surpass Frank Sibley's record of being the club's youngest-ever player if he makes his debut." Skysports

Wycombe Official Site - INJURY ENDS GARETH'S STAY
- Winger Gareth Ainsworth has been forced to cut short his loan spell at Adams Park after suffering a torn calf muscle which will rule him out of action for six weeks.
- The 36-year-old joined the Blues on a one-month loan from Queens Park Rangers in November and starred in the victories over Millwall and Brentford, but sustained an injury in training which has kept him sidelined ever since.
- Ainsworth underwent a scan on Monday and the results revealed a tear in his calf which will see him return to Loftus Road, although Wanderers boss Gary Waddock hasn't ruled out a return for the ex-Wimbledon man in the future:
- "I would love to keep him longer term and we'll see what develops when he recovers," Waddock told wwfc.com. "I would like to thank him for all his efforts during his stay with the club.
- "The impact he had in only a short spell was fantastic and he gave everyone a lift. He played his part and we wish him a speedy recovery." Wycombe Official Site

MIRROR/James Nursey - Exclusive: Jim Magilton leaves QPR after Akos Buzasaky row
- QPR are set to announce they have parted company with manager Jim Magilton following his bust-up with Akos Buzsaky.
- And Championship Rangers have lined up Paul Hart as their next boss with Mick Harford as his assistant.
- QPR’s sporting director Gianni Paladini is holding a series of meetings with the club’s lawyers today to finalise Magilton’s departure.
- And Mirror Sport understands an official announcement is due imminently with Hart, recently sacked by Portsmouth, waiting in the wings.
- Magilton, 40, was suspended for allegedly head-butting Buzsaky after last week’s 3-1 loss at Watford.
- He denied the incident but a number of players claimed to have witnessed the row.
- Youth team coaches Steve Gallen and Marc Bircham were in temporary charge for Monday’s 2-2 draw at West Brom.
- But now Magilton is leaving with Hart set to replace him at Loftus Road. Mirror

Paul Warburton/London Informer - Hart and Harford offered QPR managership
- PAUL Hart and Mick Harford will be offered the QPR managership until the end of the season only.
- But if the pair works out, a three-year deal will be carrot-like dangled in front of Rangers 10th management set-up in just over three years.
- Last night, club lawyers were thrashing out the exact details of Jim Magilton’s sacking, with the legal eagles making sure they had player statements ready to back up allegations the outgoing boss had in indeed assaulted Akos Buzsaky.
- The bust-up that ended with the Hungarian winger wandering in front of the stand at Watford 12 days ago after the 3-1 defeat will allow Hoops to dismiss the 40-year-old Northern Irishman for gross misconduct, and send him on his way without a penny.
- Hart’s return to a dug-out comes less than a month after he was sacked by Portsmouth, although Harford had a five-game spell in charge at Loftus Road in between the departure of John Gregory and the arrival of Luigi Di Canio two years ago.
- The former Luton manager left the Hatters in October, but as popular as Harford was last time – both new bosses are set to arrive after Alan Curbishley and Steve Coppell turned down QPR overtures.
- Curbishley is still awaiting the final payment as part of a settlement from West Ham, and Coppell has decided to take a break from football for the rest of the season.
- QPR are quietly hoping a club will make a decent offer for Buzsaky in the January transfer window as well.
- There are some at the club, who felt the player should have kept the changing room row in-house – and his removal from the squad on Monday for the 2-2 draw at West Brom came before he pulled up with slight medial ligament damage.
- Kaspars Gorkss scored his second goal for Rangers when he nodded the second against WBA – but admits he still doesn’t see himself as a shoo-in for the team against Sheffield United on Saturday - whoever picks it.
- Caretakers Steve Gallen and Marc Bircham paired him with Damon Stewart for the eighth different back four in a row at The Hawthorns. And despite his hand in both goals, the Latvian only underlined the uncertainty around W12 this week.
- He said: "We have a bunch of decent players here so we should be able to play well regardless of who plays." London Informer
