- Magilton's Departure and Hart's (Reported) Arrival: A few questions among many:

- How many more managers (and coaches) will arrive and depart from Loftus Road under Chairman Briatore?

- How and Why Did the Decision that Magilton Should Leave Come about? (A myriad of other players and Managers have said, the norm is "What Happens in the Dressing Room, should stay in the dressing room")

- Why did the Club Decide specifically on Paul Hart as Manager?

- When did the club make the Hart Decision - and why so quickly compared to what they did in the aftermath of Gregory's departure, Dowie's departure and Sousa's depature?

- Is Mick Harford Paul Hart's Choice as the #2 or is someone the club have decided should be the #2?

- Who will be in charge of signing players (assuming QPR make any signings) in January? Who will be determing which players to sell?

- Are QPR still interested in the players we were supposedly set to sign?

- Will the club ever explain the rationale behind some of their signings: Most notably, our summer signing, Alessandro Pellicori?

- Will the Club ever hold a Fan Forum? The last forum was approaching a thousand days ago - many managers back (John Gregory)?

Evening Standard/Tom Collomosse - QPR want Paul Hart on season deal
- Paul Hart is set to be handed a performance-related deal to become Queens Park Rangers manager for the rest of the season.
- The former Portsmouth and Nottingham Forest boss is the front-runner for the post after QPR announced last night that Jim Magilton had left the job "by mutual consent".
- Magilton was suspended last week after being accused of head-butting Akos Buzsaky following the 3-1 defeat by Watford. Hart is in line to become Rangers' fifth permanent manager since Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone took control in December 2007.
- It is believed the agreement would see Hart remain in charge of the first team until the end of the campaign, with rewards built into the contract if the team are successful.
- Magilton's assistant John Gorman has also left QPR and it is understood that Hart's No2 would be Mick Harford, who had a spell as caretakermanager in 2007 following the sacking of John Gregory." Standard

Kilburn Times - Nigel Quashie Speaks: Rangers idol backs old side to find the right solution
- Former QPR favourite Nigel Quashie is backing his old club to bounce back from its recent off-field problems.
- The reported dressing room bust up between Jim Magilton and Akos Buzsaky has attracted widespread interest but the Scottish international believes it has been blown out of proportion.
- Quashie said: "I think a lot more has been made of it than what it actually is. At the end of the day, what goes on in the dressing room goes on in the dressing room, and that should be sorted out there.
- "It's nothing strange; it is just something that happens in football. There is often something in a season which gets picked up and it's a little bit unfortunate and you get certain players going in certain directions."
- In December 1995 Quashie was given his QPR debut, by then manager Ray Wilkins, at the age of 17 against Manchester United at Old Trafford and went on to make 63 appearances for the R's before his £2.5 million move to Nottingham Forest in 1998.
- He is fondly remembered by Rangers fans for his stunning volley against local rivals Chelsea in the 1996 FA Cup defeat, a goal that the 31-year-old midfielder is more than happy to watch again.
- He said: "I think it was in black and white, it was a long time ago. I think you could get that on betamax!
- "QPR is a club that I love dearly, they are my club and I still go and watch them when I can. Under the circumstances at the time when I left, they needed the money when I needed to go and I'm really grateful to them for giving me the opportunity.
- "With football you have to enjoy it because it can change so quickly. I'm sure things will pan out for QPR, like it does for every football club - they always find a little solution to get the club stable. Kilburn Times

QPR Official Site - CLUB STATEMENT re Magilton/Gorman
- The Club can confirm that Jim Magilton and John Gorman have left Queens Park Rangers by mutual consent.
- Recent events have been widely reported and whilst Jim Magilton completely denies the allegations, with the full support of John Gorman, it has been agreed that it is in the best interests of the Club and Jim Magilton, if the parties move on in their separate ways.
- The Club would like to wish both Jim Magilton and John Gorman good luck in the future and thank them for their hard work.

MIRROR/Alan Nixon - Paul Hart to be named new QPR manager
- Paul Hart will be named as the new manager of QPR - in a dream ticket with Mick Harford - after sealing the deal last night.
- The former Portsmouth boss agreed to take over the Championship club on a contract until the end of the season despite having other offers.

The ex-Pompey chief also had the chance of a post with Tottenham's youth set-up but his hunger has been found with his stormy spell at Fratton Park.

Veteran coach Hart wants to stay in first-team football and accepted the tough task at Rangers who are firing Jim Magilton after his bust-up with Akos Buzsaky.

Hart and Harford will move into the hot seat next week, leaving caretaker Steve Gallen in charge for a second game this weekend.

Gallen will go back to his duties as youth team manager at Loftus Road. Ironically he may give teenager Raheem Sterling a debut this weekend - the 15-year-old would become the youngest player in English senior football history. Mirror
