Posh and QPR fail in moves for in-form striker
- Skysports.com understands Aldershot rejected two bids from Championship clubs for Marvin Morgan on loan deadline day.
- Championship pair Peterborough and Queens Park Rangers are both believed to have made enquiries last month.
- Morgan has enjoyed a fine season to date for Aldershot, scoring nine goals so far this term, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
- Peterborough were keen on bringing a new striker before the close of the transfer window and were also linked with moves for Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre and Crewe's Calvin Zola.
- QPR are also thought to have enquired about Morgan's availability as Jim Magilton looks to add to his attacking options at Loftus Road.
- Aldershot rejected the overtures of the pair as they are keen to keep hold of the giant front-man as they aim to mount a bid for promotion. Skysport
