- TONY COTON is poised to join Queens Park Rangers.
The former Manchester United goalkeeping coach will be No.2 to Mick Harford, who has taken over from Paul Hart.
-Harford wants his former Birmingham team-mate to join him at Loftus Road as assistant manager.
-Harford was No2 to Hart, who quit Rangers after the players called a two-hour crisis meeting on Thursday to discuss the management.
-The former Luton chief is determined to take his chance as the club's new manager and has turned to Coton to help him push Rangers towards the play-off spots. News of the World

WINGER Wayne Routledge will quit QPR in disgust at how the club is being run after -
The former Tottenham and Crystal Palace star, 25, is wanted by Boro manager Gordon Strachan to replace the departing Adam Johnson.
- Routledge, 25, arrived from Aston Villa only last year but has seen FIVE managers sacked.

Ian Holloway believes leaving QPR ruined his family's life.
The Blackpool boss spent five seasons in the top flight with Rangers as a player, before taking over the Loftus Road hot-seat in February 2001.
But Ollie was given the boot after five years in charge of the Hoops.
Last month, the 46-year-old urged Rangers owner Flavio Briatore to sell-up and leave Rangers, before he ruins the club.
Briatore's axe fell again yesterday with Paul Hart becoming the latest casualty of the Italian's reign.
The former Pompey boss lasted just 28 days and is now the sixth full-time manager to leave Loftus Road since the millionaire took over in September 2007.
Pool host QPR this afternoon, and [b]Ollie reckons his life has never been the same since leaving the West London club.
He said: "There's a lot of history there. Good luck to them, but not on Saturday,
"My kids haven’t been the same since. My deaf daughters couldn’t understand why I'm not working for them anymore.
"They didn’t realise daddy could get the sack and they love QPR.
"My whole life's changed a little bit after that. I don't like them getting too close to the flames because they can get burned."

News of The World - TOTTENHAM MAKE OFFER TO HART

- PAUL HART will be offered an immediate return to work by Spurs following his departure from the QPR hot-seat.
- Hart, whose reputation with young players remains sky-high, is wanted by Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp to head the club's academy.
- Redknapp took Hart to Portsmouth to run the youth side when he was manager at Fratton Park.
- Hart was lined up for a similar position at Manchester City before Mark Hughes was sacked.
- Brian Kidd, who was development coach at the time, wanted Hart to join the youth programme at City.
- That was put on the back burner when Kidd took the job as assistant manager to Roberto Mancini and Hart went to Rangers.
- His spell at Loftus Road ended on Thursday evening and the option of joining Tottenham may be too good to turn down.

Hart admitted: "If I hadn't got the job at QPR I probably would have gone back into youth coaching anyway.
- "I've done it before, building it from the bottom up. I know how to do it and I enjoy it." News Of The World
