Warnock on Taarabt - QPR Official Site - NW: 'TARBS' TANTRUMS ARE FINE BY ME'
- Neil Warnock insists he is happy for Adel Taarabt to show his stroppy side, as long as he keeps producing the goods on the pitch!
- The Rangers skipper kicked a water bottle in frustration when he was substituted during our 3-0 win at Ipswich Town on Tuesday night, but the R's gaffer wasn't too worried.
- "He kicked the water bottle and he was in the shower when I spoke to the players at full-time, but that's Adel," Warnock told www.qpr.co.uk.
- "He's going to kick the water bottle; he's going to throw his towel at me; he'll probably take his shirt off and sling that at me at times too, but if I can cope with it, everybody else can too.
- "I thought he was superb at Ipswich. He played really well for an hour.
- "At 2-0 up we wanted to close it down and be professional and I thought the substitutions were right.
- "He's not a Latin American but he's got that type of character and you can't let it upset you.
- "He'll remember me in years to come as a Manager and vice-versa, because you've got to learn to cope with his tantrums."
- Warnock added: "I just look at the good things he does and he's made a great start to the season.
- "I've never had a player with better quality in my whole career and I absolutely love him.
- "He's going to be difficult to manage at times, but as long as he keeps performing as he does then it's fine by me. QPR
