Mirror/Ann Gripper - Warnock begs QPR fans to behave at Millwall
- Neil Warnock has pleaded with QPR trouble-makers to stay away from the Championship leaders’ visit to Millwall tonight.
- Warnock used his programme notes in Saturday’s win over Leicester to warn off any Rangers fans intent on trouble following serious violence outside Loftus Road when the clubs met in September.
- Warnock insists he relishes his visits to the New Den, despite having to endure extra stick as a former Crystal Palace manager.
- “I want the fans to behave themselves," he said. "Millwall get a bad reputation, but 99 per cent of their fans are all right.
- “They give me stick when I get off the bus. I don’t know what they will call me this year – I might wear earplugs when I step off the bus.
- “But I think it’s a great place and I like Kenny Jackett.”
- A late winner from substitute Ishmael Miller at the weekend means Rangers go into the game eight points clear.
- Martin Rowlands will not be able to feature for Millwall against his parent club under the terms of his loan deal, while Hoops defender Fitz Hall, substituted after half an hour on Saturday with a tight hamstring, could be involved.
- Millwall will have Tottenham winger Andros Townsend in their squad after he signed on loan until the end of the season.
- After their first encounter with the Lions this season ended in a 0-0 draw, Warnock is expecting another tough test as his side look to take another step towards the top flight.
- He explained: “Let’s be fair, when we played them down here they had the best chance. I think Steve Morison ran through with a great chance, so they will want to beat us.
- “I don’t think it will be a cracking game – derbies are derbies. The form book goes out the window and we have to be resolute.” Mirror

" Slide #14 - Tommy Docherty (QPR) 28 days 1968
An illustrious managerial career - won the FA Cup with Manchester United, the League Cup with Chelsea - also contained a few duds. After a successful spell at Chelsea, Docherty joined QPR in 1968 but lasted only 28 days. Docherty has the dubious honour of being able to be included in this list twice: he was appointed QPR manager again in 1979, sacked almost immediately and then reinstated after just nine days away.
