QPR1st - Saturday: Fans voice their feelings
- QPR1st has been informed that fans are intending to meet at South Africa Road, this Saturday from noon onwards. It is understood that this is an informal gathering which is intended to be a peaceful expression of fans' disaffection regarding the ticket prices for next season and other developments within the Club.
- This follows the submission by the LSA to the Directors of the Club of a letter expressing their concerns. QPR1st agree with the points made in the letter and are united with the LSA on asking the Board to meet with representatives from fans organisations.
- We fully endorse the call by John Reid, the Chairman of the LSA for fans groups to present a united front and have written to him to ensure him that the LSA, for which we have the greatest respect, can rely on our support. We are keen to receive any feedback from fans on what you think should be the most appropriate course of action for us to now take. We shall also be writing to the Supporters Trusts at Newcastle and Manchester United regarding their campaigns to find out if there are any lessons to be learnt for us." QPR1st

Ealing Gazette/Paul Warburton - QPR eye striker swoop
QPR boss Neil Warnock’s first job when he returns from holiday on Monday is to wring £3million-plus out of the board to make Danny Graham his first Premiership signing.
- Hoops are determined to win a tug of war with Swansea and West Brom for the Watford striker’s signature after Warnock’s initial £2.5m offer was turned down.
- But the Rs manager is still determined to make the 25-year-old hitman a number one priority – providing he gets the extra cash that persuades Watford to part with their star player.
- A Loftus Road insider said: "Teams sometimes build from the back forward – but the manager wants to make sure he has goals in his locker, with Graham providing them.
- "After that, there will be moves for maybe four or five others." Gazette

- From The FA Report On QPR:

"....5.5.2 As far as the Club’s web-page is concerned, the report of a £3.5 million deal was clearly false. Mr. Paladini appeared to accept in interview that he was the source of the report. It was characterised by Mr. Mill as a ‘puff’; something that was done in order to show the Club’s supporters, and others, that the Club was going places and willing to invest heavily in order to do so.
""That was essentially the motivation according to Mr. Paladini in interview. Whether one regards the report as mere ‘puff’, or a ‘lie’, depends on one’s moral compass, with some necessary re-calibration to take into account “the ways of football”, a phrase that was used more than once during the hearing.
"That Mr. Paladini was at least involved in some way in the report finding its way onto the Club’s web-site, we have little doubt, but while the value of the deal was significantly exaggerated, and objectively untrue, the motivation for it colour as how it should reflect upon Mr. Paladini as a witness..."
