QPR will travel to Germany in early August as the countdown to the big Barclays Premier League kick-off gathers pace.

Mark Hughes's new-look squad will spend eight days in Bad Wörishofen, a spa town in the district of Unterallgäu, Bavaria.

Rangers will play a fixture on August 4th (further details to be announced in due course), before locking horns with Bundesliga side FC Augsburg seven days later on August 11th.

FC Augsburg, who ply their trade at the 30,660 capacity SGL Arena, finished 14th in the 2011/12 Bundesliga season.

The Bavaria-based Club appointed Markus Weinzierl as their new Manager in May.

BUZSAKY FAILS TO AGREE TERMS

Posted on: Fri 13 Jul 2012

Akos Buzsaky will not be re-signing for QPR this summer.

The Club offered the midfielder a new contract at the end of last season, but the Hungarian has failed to agree terms.

Buzsaky (pictured) made an immediate impact following his permanent move to W12 from then-fellow Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle in January 2008.

The midfielder, who initially joined on loan prior to making the deal permanent, scored seven goals in his first 12 appearances and ended the campaign with ten goals to his name.

His taste for the spectacular also saw him scoop the Kiyan Prince Goal of the Season award that year.

A long-term knee injury put paid to Buzsaky featuring in much of the QPR's Championship-clinching campaign.

However, the Hungarian international did battle back to play his part in the season's crucial climax, making 19 league appearances in total.

His appearances were again quite limited last season, as he featured in 21 fixtures for the R's, scoring twice in Premier League victories over Wigan Athletic and Swansea City.

The Club is thankful to Akos for his contribution during his time at Loftus Road and wishes him every success for the future.  QPR
