Three New Chief Scouts!
The National -  QPR add three to recruitment department
Duncan Castles

Queens Park Rangers are to further strengthen their recruitment department by appointing Steve Hitchen, Stuart Webber and Hans Gillhaus as a team of three head scouts.
The trio, who have all held senior positions at Champions League clubs, have been hand picked by Mike Rigg, the club's new technical director. Hitchen and Webber have been employed at Liverpool where they were head scout and director of academy recruitment under Damien Comolli.

The decision of Liverpool's American owners to dismiss Comolli as their director of football strategy, and his planned replacement by David Fallows, previously at Manchester City, had left Hitchen and Webber in limbo.

Fallows is due to take over some of Comolli's duties at Anfield with Barry Hunter, another recruit from City, operating as the club's new chief scout.

Gillhaus held senior scouting positions at PSV Eindhoven and Chelsea before working as sporting director for Belgian Pro League club Zulte Waregem last season.

He lost his post at Chelsea during a clear out of Frank Arnesen's recruitment department.
