BARNSLEY skipper Brian Howard is almost certain to miss out on this weekend's trip to Queens Park Rangers through injury.
The midfielder, who has hit ten goals for the Reds this season, is struggling with a thigh injury and is not expected to train until Friday.
Speaking exclusively to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, manager Simon Davey said: "Brian is a worry. He has a thigh problem which is quite sore and he will not train.
"We will have to look at him closely before making a decision for the weekend".
